There is both a Senior and Junior debating club in the school.

Junior Debating

Wednesday 1.00pm in the lecture theater for S1 to S3 pupils. There are fortnightly debates on topical issues with every other week being a workshop to improve debating skills. We regularly participate in national and international competitions and have had representatives from our club debate in the debating chamber of Oxford Uni in the final of the International Competition for Young Debaters. To join all you need to do is come along on a Wednesday. The S6 contacts who help run the debating society are: Clare Armstrong, Julia Stubbins, Alex Duncan and Gordon West.
