The whole of the S2 year group took part in a DYW activity with Network Rail on Tuesday the 30th of January P3 & 4. This was run by four of their current graduates. One whom previously attended AGS.
The graduates spoke with the whole of the S6 year group during period one where they gave details of their chosen career pathways and also highlighted the various options from Graduate entry schemes to Apprenticeship schemes offered by Network rail.
Network rail have been looking to geographically expand the work they undertake with schools north of the central belt and have developed a railway themed STEM-in-a-box activity for the S2 year group. The activity highlighted possible career opportunities from apprenticeships to graduate schemes though three challenges. Network rail hope that pupils consider it as a potential career once they leave school.
