Ernst and Young Accountants (EY) Invite:
We’d like to invite you to our EY Insight event on the 8th November between 6-8pm at the EY Aberdeen office. This is your opportunity to hear more about us and our programmes. You’ll get an insight into what an apprenticeship is like at EY and we’ll offer helpful tips on our four-stage application process too. If you’d like to attend the event please register at the insight event link below.
If you’re unable to attend this event but want to find out more about us, we’ve shared some helpful links below on what we look for in students applying to EY as well as more infomation about the programmes we offer.
We hope you’re able to make the event and we look forward to meeting you soon!
This is open to any pupil in 5th/6th year who may be interested to a) apply to EY for our apprenticeship scheme or b) come along to our insight evening held this Thursday 8th November in the Aberdeen office to find out more about us and our programmes?
The main facts around our business apprenticeship programme are:
- You need to have 5 highers but they can be over 1 or 2 years and can be in any grade or subject (it’s a common myth that you have to have higher maths!).
- It is a 5 year programme where you would work (and earn a salary) and train and study for your professional qualification throughout your time with us. This is with ICAS (the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland).
- At the end you automatically are kept on as a qualified chartered accountant so the apprenticeship doesn’t just automatically end!
- EY will cover all of this information and tips on the application process at our insight evening where we will also have current apprentices on the scheme coming to talk to the students. The invite for the insight evening can be extended to students, teachers and parents!
