Learner Pathways Evening – March / February 2019

Learner Pathways Evening March / February 2019

On Thursday 10th January and Wednesday 27th February 2019 pupils and parents were warmly invited to our S3 into S4 and Senior Phase Learner Pathways evening.

The key goal is for our pupils to enjoy learning in the Senior Phase and achieve a strong set of examination results. Central to this is selecting the right courses in the first place. With this in mind, the event followed on from our restructured events last year moving away from the traditional course choice evening to a much more interactive event. Our Learner Pathways evening allowed pupils and parents to talk with employers, teachers, further and higher education providers and ask any specific questions.

We also had two presentations on the evening one form National Air traffic Services Aberdeen (NATS) and the by Ernst Young (EY) of which both had positive feedback.

The World Challenge group who are planning a trip to Sri Lanka provided teas/coffees/cakes in the dining hall with Music will provided by AGS pupils.

Overall both events were very successful with positive feedback from all involved.
