A group of fifteen S4 – S6 pupils attended the OPITO EYF event on Friday 6th of September. After the group had a welcome from OPITO the group then took part in a Shell STEM challenge. This was to build a Salt water Car. The car was powered by saltwater fuel Cell.
Once the cars were raced it was time to get a tour of Offshore Europe lead by OPITO Apprentices visiting the following company’s:

- Robert Gordon University
- TOTAL
- Schlumberger
- IGUS
- ASCO
- Xodus Group
- OPITO
I very interesting day for the pupils highlighting the various options of employment from Technical apprenticeships to Graduate entry.
