Chloe’s film titled ‘Sam’, which was created as a part of the BFI Film Academy, won the Best Film in the Young-Adult Drama Live Action Category at the Scottish Youth Festival in Edinburgh 2016.The filmed tackled issues including stereotypes and acceptance.

Congratulations to Shona Fraser for her selection to the Scotland Women’s Volleyball Team. Shona will travel to Ireland with the Senior Women’s squad to play Ireland and Northern Ireland. These will be her first caps at senior international level, which is a huge achievement for someone that is only 16! Shona will also be the first ever Aberdeen Grammar Pupil to win a senior cap in volleyball.
November 2016 Clara Jane Maunder (S6) – Art Clara-Jane Maunder is an S6 pupil at Aberdeen Grammar School. She was invited to Junction Arts Gallery on Holburn Street to show them her work. They were so impressed that they asked if 2 of Clara-Jane’s pieces could be featured in their ‘Winter Exhibition’. They are on show in the gallery until January. Well done Clara-Jane!!!
