International Women’s Day – CHC Helicopters
CHC Helicopters have sent an invitation to all schools inviting them to a fantastic opportunity to interact with female students who may have an interest in pursuing a degree / career in the industry.
This event is due to take place on Tuesday, 5th of March, 2019.
The event will take place at Robert Gordon’s College
Time: 09:30 – 13:00 (Lunch will be provided)
CHC would like to invite S3 – S6 Pupils who are currently studying STEM Subjects.
This could potentially be a fantastic opportunity to allow these individuals to informally meet / ask questions and receive advice on the industry etc.
This would also be a fantastic opportunity for females who are doing a ‘STEM Pipeline / Project’.
The event will include having female guest speakers, who would be able to share their stories, journey and successes with attendees and to inform them of their career path.
Positions include; Pilots, Engineers, Business Leaders and Industry Professionals who would be able to share their expertise and knowledge with female individuals.
Despite their organisation being involved in Aviation / Engineering, they will have females from a variety of different roles within the organisation to speak and offer their advice and expertise to students. These range from a wide variety of organisations in Aberdeen which operate in the sector.
